Dear subscribers
We use a central installation point do distribute Office XP using Group
Policies, i.e. the IntelliMirror feature described in:
http://www.microsoft.com/office/ork/xp/one/depc02.htm
The procedure I use to update Office is to update the central installation
point and then redeploy Office to the client applications. I have done this
before without any problem, but for some reason I get an error message for
the GDI+ patch (KB832332). The update procedure is described in:
http://www.microsoft.com/office/ork/updates/oxppatchadmin.htm
My command line was:
C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator>msiexec /p c:\temp\SHAREDff.msp /a
"e:\Software\MS\Deployed\Office XP\PRO.MSI" SHORTFILENAMES=TRUE /qb /l*
c:\temp\updatelog.txt
when running the update I received the following dialog that stated that the
program to be updated was missing, see the following url for an image of the
dialog:

The logfile from the update attempt is also available at:
http://www.otsystem.com/sti/kb832332_log.txt
Any help with this problem would be greatly appreciated.
