Hi
just to add (hopefully remembered correctly from my statistic lessons):
The general definition for distribution functions (Media, Quatile,
Percentile, Quantile)
A distribution function P(X) can be described by values of X
(Quantiles) which divide F(X) in a specific manner:
F(Xp) = P(X<=Xp) = p
with
Median: p = 0.5
k. Quartile: 4p = k
k. Percentile: 100p = k
