Precise timings in Mac Office 2008 Powerpoint?

Operating System: Mac OS X 10.5 (Leopard)
Processor: Power PC

Looking to upgrade from Office:Mac to the 2008 version of powerpoint primarily because the current version I'm using doesn't support the precise timings that the PC version does -- it only allows whole second settings. Can someone let me know if the latest version does support precise timings? I can't seem to find the answer to this anywhere.

Thanks!

Yes, Slide Timings can be set in 1/10 second increments.

However, the timer only displays whole seconds when you record timings (even
though they're recorded in tenths) & the timings are rounded to whole
seconds in Slide Sorter.

Thanks, that does help. So is there any place in the software where you can see what the timings are and tweak them, or is rehearsing timings the only way to set them? I create a lot of slideshows that sync audio and pictures, and after recording the rough timings through rehearsing, I then go in and tweak them manually to get things right.

Thanks very much for your help!

In Slide Sorter or Normal View Control/Right-Click one or more selected
slides & choose Transition from the contextual menu, then click the Options
button at the left end of the Elements Gallery.
