precondition failed

I get a Precondition Failed message when trying to email to a group. I was
able to email last night but not today. Last night, the error message was
"too many recipients." Now that I've chiseled down my list, the error
message is "server... Precondition Failed"

"Too many recipients" is a server error, meaning your ISP rejected your
message because you went over their limit for the number of recipients on a
single message. You will need to ask them about the Precondition Failed
message also -- there must have been something else in your message that the
ISP's server didn't like for whatever reason.
