Predecessors in Copy & Paste

Hi,

In each time I do copy & paste between 2 project in 2007, the Predecessors
don't copy.

Does anyone know the reason or the solution for that?

Hi,

I suppose you mean in Project Professional (although you posted this in the
server newsgroup)?
Predecessors do copy, but only those within the copied selection of tasks.

I meant to 2007 pro.
I just select the rows and copy paste them.
All the data is copied except to the predecessors.

Have you selected the rows by their ID (such that all columns show "black")?

Hi,

Was there a resolution to this issue? I have a deployment schedule for
multiple sites. I would like to copy the schedule for the first site for the
followon sites. When I select the appropriate rows and then paste, the
predecessors data is blank. I would like it to adjust to the new copied
block. I seem to recall Project 2003 doing this with no issue. Thanks for
your help.

Any feedback or additional info on this? I'm having the same problem.

This is a server related problem. Does not happen with locally saved files
for me. Only happens with a "server based" schedule. A locally saved copy of
the exact same schedule is OK.
