Ran,
It's not an issue of "forbidden" or not -- it's a matter of courtesy.
Most everyone who responds to the posts in the three project newsgroups
(Project, Project Developer, and Project Server) read all three
newsgroups. When you multi-post (separate messages to multiple
newsgroups) you do not increase the likelihood of getting an answer --
you just make more work for the folks who respond. I started to respond
to your posting in this newsgroup with the exact same answer Jan gave in
the server newsgroup but before posting checked that newsgroup and saw
that Jan responded to you there. Not a huge deal but it wasted time
creating an answer for you that Jan had already given.
It also makes more work for you too -- now you have to check multiple
threads in multiple newsgroups to collate the information.
I realize you didn't multipost for any malicious reason and my request
is not to chastise you -- just a request to not continue
You are
best posting all relevant information (like whether you are using
Server, are you trying to copy/paste in the Project Pro client or PWA,
etc) to one place.
