predefining text parts

Morning.

My business letters have subjects like <name of the costumer> (some
text) <type of deal>. I want to repeat <name of the costumer> and <type
of deal> in the header of each new page: »Page # of the letter to <name
of the costumer concerning <type of deal>«.

How can I get this behaviour?

TIA and kind regards. Friedrich

I think STYLEREF fields will do what you want.

Word help is quite good on that subject.

In short, create a style for each of customer name and type of deal.
Assign that style to each in the beginning of the letter.

Set headers to different first page, then put stylerefs in the page 2
header where you want the customer name and deal to appear.
