prefer .jpg attachments that I receive show up opened in outlook

When I used outlook express, e-mails with .jpg attachments came already
opened in body below text. I would like that with outlook

That is the preview area in Outlook Express. It is not a feature in
Outlook because Outlook is a more secure product than Outlook Express.
Outlook Express is not some lite version of Outlook. They are
completely separate products. One is geared for personal use and
another is geared for corporate use. Every different e-mail program you
use will have a different feature set, so pick the e-mail client that
best matches your needs. If every e-mail program had all the features
of every other e-mail program, there would only be one e-mail program.

If you want to see the images inside the body of your e-mails, tell the
sender to embed the image (copy/paste or Insert) so their MIME part has
disposition=inline rather than attach them which has disposition=attach.
The e-mail program is complying with the disposition that the sender
specified when they added the image. OE has the added preview area at
the end of each mail but that's a feature of OE and not every other
e-mail program will have the same features as OE (and means OE is
effectively *not* obeying the disposition specified by the sender).
