I can't seem to get the viewing preferences to remain the same for when I open Excel each time. It keeps coming up with the page break view and not 'normal' view. I've changed it in the Preferences but this doesn't seem to get remembered. How do I go about customising the view that I want on opening Excel ?

Preferences sometimes get "forgotten about" if there is no change made &
saved *after* changing the Pref setting. Open a file, change the setting,
tehm make a change of some sort - change it back if you wish but *don't* Undo
it - then save the file. See if that makes a difference & reply back if it
doesn't.

Thanks again - perfect answer. I'm well impressed with this forum & your help. It's fantastic and a brilliant way to help convert from pc to Mac when using packages you 'already know'. Cheers.
