Prematurely Sending Messages

When typing a message in Entourage, I've found that if you paste
something into the body using apple-V, and then you hit the return key
before completely releasing your fingers from the apple-V keys, it
automatically sends the message. Messages have gone out inadvertently
before I've finished them, which has caused some serious problems. Does
anyone know a fix??

Thanks for any help you can provide.

Thanks, Pete - I appreciate the response. Yes, that seems to be the
problem. I guess my proper question is then "how do you change the
default shortcut for 'send' in Entourage?"

There's no way to change it. It's built in. (Even if you were to add another
shortcut for a script doing the same thing, that would not remove the
built-in one, so hitting it accidentally would still have the same effect.)
