premissions and access rights for categories and groups

Hi there,
Using Project Prof 2003 and project server with windows sharepoint services.
I am setting up a category, which holds a group that I want to use to give
restricted web access to stakeholders.
This particular group is the only group within the category.
I want to have project centre view only, and I have configured this pretty
much exactly how I want it. The only thing I need to remove is the option in
the collaboration menu in the side-pane that allows them to go to 'selected
project workspace' - I don't want this particular category /group to be able
to view and edit any of the project documents - risks, issues etc. I have
denied these permissions in the group and category permissions, and therefore
the top-level menu options are not available in thier view.
I would like to remove the menu option from the side pane under
collaboration..
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
