I am about to upgrade two XP Pro computers from Office 2003 to Office 2008
Ultimate (full product, not upgrade disks). One of the systems also has all
of the extra Office-related programs such as FrontPage, Visio, Project,
MapPoint, etc.
I remember reading articles a while back that Outlook might need preparation
and that both having Viual Studio coexist with FrontPage and replacing
FrontPage with VS altogether have issues. I also worry that the other
products might have issues, too. I have not had any luck searching the
Knowledgebase, but I am not sure if it is because these issues no longer
exist, bad searching technique on my part, or just faulty memory on my part.
Any hints on these two upgrades, especially if they include pointers to the
appropriate articles would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
