Preparing to Erase and Reinstal OSX, concerned about reinstalling Office X

I am backing up files in preparation for an erase and reinstall of OSX,
and I realized that Office only lets you instal it so many times. This
is the second computer I have used it one, so if I instal it again in a
few days, I will be unable to put it on my next computer which I plan
on buying in a month or so. How can I get around this? I mean, I
bought it for like $150, and basically I will be unable to use it after
this. That seems pretty dumb...
Anyone get what I'm talking about? Any solutions?

Thanks,
Sean

You've got a fundamental misconception. The limitation is on the number
of machines that Office is installed on at the same time, not the number
of times you install Office.

You could install Office hourly if you wanted to, as long as you don't
exceed your license's maximum number of machines (generally one desktop
and one laptop per license, as long as they're not being used at the
same time).

If you paid $150, did you get the Student/Teacher edition? If so, you
have three licenses (at least with Office v.X and Office 2004) so you
can install Office on up to 6 machines (3 desktops and 3 laptops).
