Each time I start FrontPage 2003, I have a brief "Preparing to Install"
message appear on the screen. It disappears after a few seconds and I then
have access to FrontPage. I also have Office 2007 installed on my Windows XP
Pro system.
I tried uninstalling FrontPage and then got the message that an uninstall
program or routine could not be found -- "the installation source could not
be found."
I also tried reinstalling the program by putting in the FrontPage 2003 CD
and double-clicking on setup.exe and I get the same message -- "the
installation source could not be found."
I also tried uninstalling the program via the Add/Remove Programs applet in
Control Panel -- I get the same message.
Any idea what I can do about that so I can uninstall and reinstall the
program. I was thinking that perhaps doing that would get rid of the
"preparing to install" message.
I have no idea why this is happening. I know that I've had Office 2003
installed on this system in the past. I uninstalled Office 2003 in order to
install Office 2007.
I'd appreciate any help on this issue. Thanks much.
