Preparing to install message

Hi,
Every time I open word 2002 I get message "preparing to
nstall" and it opens but takes lot of time. Why it is
so ?. But excel works fine ,power point gives the same
message further " Please wait until microsoft windows
configures office XP with front page"
I have installed complete on the windows xp

I can confirm same behaviour with Word 2000 via Office
2000 Premium on XP.
