Preparing to install

Every time I click on a control in the control toolbox,
Excel starts the installer. And then it comes up with a
message saying that the object library is not registered.
I presume this is because I installed Office XP SBE as an
upgrade to Office 2000 Pro. The VB editor works fine in
Word 2002, but gives me the same error message if I try
to use it in Excel.

I have removed both copies of Office and reinstalled, but
to no avail.

Any Ideas wil be very welcome, as I do not want to
reinstall the whole machine.
