Presentation Broadcast difficulty.

I have adifficulty to run "Record Presentation Broadcast" on my machines.
I'm running W2K Pro PCs here and am using Office XP on all machines.

When I attempt to record a presentation broadcast, PPT shows error message
looks like "Failed to start Windows Media Encoder. Network resource is not
available. [Retry] [Cancel]". Strange thing is that sometime it works fine
on same machine w/o any configuration changes. This problem occurs rondomly
on some PCs. Seems it keeps running fine if first operation could works in a
day. But if first operation failed, it will never succeed even if re-booted.

I have to do such recording five or six times per a month, so I'm not having
this trouble so many. But I want to know a cause of this.
I've read some PPT broadcast related articles on Microsoft KB search, but
couln't had any resolution.

Anybody has experienced?
How can I solve this?

regards,
TK

I suspect you've already read those, but I can't think of any reason the
problem would occur even after you reboot. You might have to give MS a
call on this one, sorry.
