I have a PowerPoint presentation that crashes my PP (version 11)
program when I attempt to open it. What is interesting is that this
happens on my Mac PowerBook G4, but does not happen on my iMac
Graphite. Yes, I have the same OS 10.3.5 on both Mac computers, the
same Microsoft Office 2004 on both computers. The iMac can handle
opening this presentation just fine. It was created on the iMac with
the previous version of PowerPoint. However, the PowerBook G4
PowerPoint will crash. I have a number of PP presentations that I work
with and all of them work on both Macs except the one presentation.
One other thing though, PP on my PowerBook G4 also crashes when I
attempt to click to place a new slide design or to change an existing
design. On the iMac I have no problem changing slide designs,
everything works just fine.
I have tried saving the file under a new name. Have tried to creat a
new document and insert slides in the iMac, which can be done, but the
document still will not work on the PowerBook with the same PP
program.
Can anyone give me some clues as to what to do to correct this. It
appears that something is corrupted in the PP program in the
PowerBook.
Thanks,
