Presentation problem!

I have a problem when I am presenting a presentation automatically with music
(while pictures layer across the screen). On occasion, a blank white screen
will pop up over the presentation while it plays. I can minimize or x out the
white screen, but this messes up the presentation & I have to start over.
This only happens occasionally and is not consistent. Any ideas on how to
prevent this? (I have no other programs open while running my powerpoint
show).

Thanks!

Does the white window have anything in the title bar at the top that identifies
a program or process? You say that you can "x" out the white screen. Do you
mean that there are Minimize, Maximize and Close icons in the upper right
corner?

Hi Sonia,
No, there is nothing printed on the window or on top...just the
minimize/maximize/close icons. It's strange, because the ppt presentation
will continue to play, even after that white screen pops up. If you minimize
or close it, the presentation continues, but the music starts again at the
beginning.
And, even more strange, it is not at all consistent. It seems to only do it
when I am using a digital projector. And even then only once in a while
(usually at the worst time). It almost never does it (only once that I can
remember) when I am simply running the ppt presentation on my laptop.

Thanks for your help!
