I am creating a large slide show with an aiff soundtrack. When I play it back
the sound sputters and jumps .. besides being very annoying it throws the
timing off. What is the best way to optimize the presentation'
Thanks

Hi Ken,

What version of PowerPoint are you using on what kind of processor
(speed, type) and how much real RAM is in your computer?

I am creating a large slide show
Large......lots of slides or large filesize?
aiff soundtrack
Try converting the sound file to a lower quality.....
e.g. try 22khz instead of 44khz
Or convert it from stereo to mono (that's half as much data powerpoint has to deal with).

- Stop any background software running at the same time
- Is there such thing is a "defrag" on macs?
