Presenter View Disappeared (2003)

Hi
I can't seem to get presenter view to appear. The slideshow is set up to
use Monitor 2 and Show Presenter View is checked. The presentation appears
on the second monitor but the primary display is just the normal editing
view. It's difficult to control the presentation in this mode.
We used to have presenter view but it seems to not work anymore.
I have updated the display driver (GeForceFX 5200) and Office was just
recently re-installed.
Any thoughts?

When you hit the Windows key to bring up the task bar, what are the names of
the PowerPoint tasks running?

Is there a chance that the presenter view is showing under the presentation?
