I'm trying to understand why one even needs Presenter view if it's possible
to just use dual monitors to present the slideshow on a projector and keep
design view on your laptop, for example. Presenter view would be great if
you could customize it a bit, but since you can't why even use it?
In my particular case, this approach would work well except for the fact
that my slide thumbnails don't update in design view due to some hardware
idiosynchrasy. They do update in presenter view, but I can't use Presenter
view with my handi-dandy Interlink Navigator remote - I need to buy the more
expensive Interlink Presenter remote.
Finally, I've also tried out PowerShow, but with no user manual available,
it's quite confusing to use. And since it doesn't really seem to offer much
over Powerpoint itself, why use it?
Thanks for listening to me vent.
