Presenter view on a single screen

V 2007, Windows Vista Home Premium

Is there anyway to force Presenter View to run on a single screen? It is
very nice when you need to read your speaker notes and time animations while
watching the actual presentation run. It would be very nice to see that on
screen as you do in Presenter View rather than having to print notes
(killing trees again) and then going over them on paper. Or, dragging out
the projector and burning valuable lamp life rehearsing.

As far as I know you cannot. It is possible to see both the show and the
notes by having the notes page in aminimised window about half screen size
and ctrl clicking the 'show presentation' icon (bottom right - looks like a
screen) but the notes won't progress along with the show and you will have to
move them manually.

I think it would be a great feature to be able to practice with presenter
view - if you post it as a suggestion I'll vote for it

I'm not sure how to do it through a newsreader, but on the web interface you
click the llittle arrow next to 'New' and select 'Suggestion for Microsoft'.

Another workaround is to hold the Ctrl key and then press the Start
Slideshow button with the mouse. This causes the slideshow to run in a
small window in the top left of your screen, leaving the rest visible.
If you resize the PowerPoint Edit Window I guess it might be a viable
alternative.
