Hi I work for a company that is trying to intergrate commercial Portal
software with Microsoft Office documents (doc, ppt, excel).
The requirement is that the microsoft office documents are embedded in the
browser along with the Portal content.
To do this I was going to use an <iframe> html element. This works fine for
people with the correct security settings, but in general it does not fly and
often time opens in a new window even though I am using an iframe.
Is there an automatic way to take a DOC or PPT and present HTML, PDF, Flash,
(non-active content) versions of the files to view from the browser
programmatically?
Any help would be great!!
