Preserve export format to work in Quark on a Mac

K

Ken Smith

My client publishes a catalog that includes various
advertisements developed on his Mac with Quark. The rest
of his catalog is data managed in an Access database.
Currently, we export the data to an rtf file and convert
the rft to a Word document. When the data is poured into
Quark, all formatting is lost.

Anyoone know of a way to preserve formatting from Access
to a file format that can be used by Quark?

Thanks

I have not installed my latest update, 6.0 yet so I do not know if PDF
files are now supported for editing but I doubt it. If you do not need
to edit the converted Report then you could save it to EPS via a PS
printer Driver and then import the EPS file as a graphic into Quark.
