Preserve printed excel font color when embed in word

I embedded an xls object in word. The text font color in the xls object is
blue. In Word the text appears blue. In print preview the text appears
blue. However, it always prints black. I am using a color printer. The
cell fill and border colors print correctly. I'm unable to get text font
color to print. Any help would be appreciated.

That sounds like "Print all colours as black" which is a printer driver
setting on some printers.

Hi John, thanks for responding. I'm sure it's not the printer because other
color elements in the document as well as other color elements in the
embedded xls object print correctly. In fact ALL colors in the embedded xls
object print correctly EXCEPT text color.
