I'm an IP newbie. I apologize if this question has been
addressed, although I couldn't find any reference in the
forums.
I always force UPPERCASE text thru-out Access tables, to
make easier/cleaner mail-merges in Word. When using an
Access data connection on my IP forms, the records import
lower-case even though I've used the ">" command in
Access, to ensure upper.
I assumed formatting (colors, font, etc) wouldn't carry
over, but how can I make Infopath retain the
capitalization from Access?
I'm assuming that this is the purpose behind creating XSL
or ReportML templates. Is there a shortcut to handle at
least the upper/lower-case issue? If not, could someone
point me in the right direction of the proper file 'type'
to use for establishing these 'style' rules?
My brain is so full of new Infopath info....at this point,
I'm having a hard time even 'keeping straight' the various
XML file types & the purpose of each! BTW, you guys have a
fantastic forum here. I've bookmarked enough info & tips
to keep me busy for months!
