Preserving hyperlinks in clipped pages

Wondering if there's a way to preserve the functionality of a webpage when
it's clipped and inserted into OneNote.

From what I can tell, the image of the webpage is saved into OneNote, and
some aspect of it is searchable by OneNote. Yet the clipped element is
functionally dead. Namely, the hyperlinks are broken, etc.

#1: Is this correct?
#2: Is there a workaround?
#3: If #1 is true, will it be added to the feature list of the next version?

Yes that is true. The clipping feature inserts the clipped portion of the
screen as a picture, which is then OCR'd and indexed. That OCR can see the
text of a hyperlink but cannot tell from the picture where the hyperlink
went to.

If you want to retain hyperlinks, use the built-in "Send to OneNote" button
(installed with OneNote 2007; not available in ON2003) in Internet
Explorer.

Thanks Erik. The built in "Send to OneNote" that's inside IE did preserve
the hyperlinks. It's a bit imperfect, graphics missing, odd formatting. I
asked for a work-around and got it, so thanks.

First kudos. OneNote is fantastic and amazing. Now a request for a feature
addition to version x.x : More stuff with hyperlinks. Be able to
capture/clip a webpage/file/or whatever with its original formatting and at
least its hyperlink functionality. Also, be able to spider down a website
and insert it into OneNote. The same concept could possibly extend the
ability to navigate within OneNote, with one note being able to point to
another note.
