Preserving the format created by the input mask

Hi, Yesterday I got some great help form here on how to create specific
input masks for about 15 different scenarios.

For example one was "\C\S" & "00 000" & "\W"

However, I have now realized I did not know to ask the whole question. When
I leave the record and come back, the formatting from the input mask has
disappeared and there are
just five numbers bunched together. Is there a way to constantly show the CS
and the W? I want my database to store the number as CS01 010W for example.

I appreciate the help in advance.

Answered in formscoding. No need to store the mask if you store the doc
type.

Add a \ before the space so it will store with the data:
"\C\S" & "00\ 000" & "\W"
