Preset Custom Animation

I am wondering if there is a way to create a preset custom animation that
could be applied to all slides. Of if there is a way to create an animation
scheme for images and text that could be applied to all slides?

In PPT2002/2003 you could consider using Animation schemes. Activate the
taskpane Animation schemes, choose a scheme and hit the button apply to all.
Every animation scheme consists of a combination of:
an animation effect applied to the title placeholder,
an animation effect applied to the text placeholder
an transition effect between slides.
When you hover over the effect with your mouse you will clearly see which of
these three are applied.
Animation schemes are useful when the presentation consist mainly of text in
placeholders. They will have no effect on textboxes you draw or on graphics
you insert yourself.
