Presets question in Word?

have several presets when printing documents in Word 2004 for Mac. The
default one named Standard, and i've created ones for printing to
different trays on my printer. I've called the presets Letterhead,
Letterhead + Second page, etc. My question is after using one of the
presets...say printing to letterhead, when I print the next document
it defaults to letterhead and not to standard, is this the norm? And
is there any way to alter this so that it goes back to standard by
default?

If there is it isn't a Word feature - Word simply calls the print subsystem
from OS X. I've not seen any prefs in the Printer setup utility or elsewhere
that would accomplish this, but you may want to post to the Apple
Discussions forum. Perhaps you can get it done via an AppleScript:
