pressing the space bar pops up a "Save As" dialog box

I have upgraded Excel & Access from Office 2000 to Office
XP and leaving the rest of the Office Suite in Office 2000
lately. After the upgrades, everytime I press the space
bar when I type, it pops up the "Save As" box. I try to
look for changing the shortcut but am not able to find
it. Please help as it stop my production tremendously
when I have to click cancel at the "Save As" dialog box.

It happens to all Microsoft Office programs
(Word/Excel/Outlook/Access/Powerpoint...) but not others.
It happened right after my computer got affected by virus
and installed the antivirus updates. I don't think it's
the keyboard problem since it only happens to Office
programs. If it's affected by virus, what should I do?
(since I've cleaned up my disk already). Thanks a lot!

Thanks Herb for responding. I'm using McAfee Virus
Definitions 4.0.4288. You think I can check out the
McAfee website and find some other cleanup program? do
you have any suggestions? Thanks a lot for your help!
