Prevent access to the macro codes

Aerojade

MS Office 2003

I am adding certain functions to the macro code of a document. I now want to
prevent access to the macro VB editor but am unable to do this. I can disable
the toolbar but Alt-F11 still works. Can someone help me out here.I know that
i can use the Macro password, but i want to prevent access to it altogether.

Thanks.

I don't think it is possible to disable the VBA editor - nor should you try.
A more pertinent question might be how you are going to persuade users to
allow a macro saved in a document to run. There is no way you can force
users to run macro code against their will, or that would be an open
invitation to virus writers.

You want to deny users access to basic functionality just because you have
written some code for them? This is arrogant in the extreme; it is also,
unfortunately, just the kind of nonsense that Microsoft tends to (over)react
to, so, maybe one day, you will be lucky and other users will be the poorer.
