Hello,
this problem is really annoying me.
I have a word document which contains a couple of fields using the
fillin field in a template. One one computer, this works like I intend
it to work. Upon creation of the document, it runs through all fields
and prompts me for the values. Afterwards, it keeps quiet until I
manually update the field using F9.
Now I transfered the file to another machine using the same Office
2003. But on this machine, saving the document always goes through all
fields and updates them automatically, thus presenting me the prompts
for values I already filled in at creation.
Is there any way to prevent Word from updating the fields upon save? I
know there is, because on the first machine it works - so where can I
set that?
Thanks a lot for your help.
