I love making diagrams in Word, and connectors are always a big part of
it, but sometimes I need to explicitly place the elbow or curve of the
connector to make everything route the way it should. Word lets me do
this with the little yellow handle. There is an option for force a
reroute but I cannot find an option for lock or disable rerouting. I
can see if I move a connected object, the connector would need to be
redrawn, but there appear to be many more conditions that force a
reroute, such as attaching a second connector to the same handle as an
existing connector. I'm looking for a way to prevent rerouting as much
as possible. Any ideas?
