Prevent entering actual time against a Milestone task

Is there a way to allow a Milestone task to appear in someone's task
list/timesheet in PWA, but not allow them to enter any time against it? We
use Milestones to reflect an event and assign to multiple resources so they
are aware. It would be convenient to set some items as read-only, but I am
not sure if this is possible.

There is no way to display a milestone tasks on a team member's timesheet
and prevent the team member from entering actuals against it. A better way
might be to give members of the Team Members group access to at least one
Project Center and one detailed Project view. You would do this by adding
one of each of these Views to the My Tasks category in PWA. Hope this
helps.

Thanks for your help. I have created a Milestone view already.....I will use
that instead of assigning the milestones to a resource.
