prevent forwarded message from becoming attachement

Hello
how do I prevent outlook from turning my forwarded messages into an attached
message? I sometimes need to modify or eliminate info from a forwarded
message before it goes out. currently outlook 2007 automatically converts the
message I forward into an attachment and of course prevents me from modifying
or eliminating anything from it before shooting it off.
How do I forward a message a la Outlook Express, which would just include
the forwarded message below the new email?
I am desperately trying to find a solution but am stomped.

Ask here, get an answer here. Moreover, it is unwise to put a real address
in a newsgroup.

On Tools>Options>E-mail Options should be settings controlling how forwarded
messages appear - included or attached.
