prevent meeting requests in OOO auto-forward?

Bob

I would like to know if it is possible to prevent the Out of Office Assistant
from forwarding certain items (such as meeting request) when an auto-forward
rule is in place.

I know it would be easy to ask the recipient of these forwards to pay
attention and see that the meeting request is not intended for himself...
But that's asking a lot! Honestly, I don't know what to do. The problem is,
people DON'T pay attention and sometimes "accept" the invitation to which
they're not even invited!

Are there any options for preventing such messages from being included in
the forward scheme? Does anybody have any other ideas? I have Outlook 2003
on users' machines and Exchange Enterprise 2003 as the server.

I really appreciate any thoughts on the matter...

thanks,
bob

When creating the rule you can set exceptions so that the action set won't
trigger.
