prevent meetings beyond work hours

My boss is using Outlook 2003. She told me that her work
day is from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, yet others see her as
available from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM. From what I can see,
it seems like the user that is sending the invitation
will see the number of hours that they have specified in
the Calendar Options (work day settings) on their
computer and it does not reflect the length of the work
day that is specified in the recipients Calendar. Is
this correct? Is there any way to configure it so other
users only see my boss as available from 9:00 AM to 4:00
PM? Thanks
