Prevent meetings from showing tentative before being accepted

Environment: Outlook 2003, Exhange 2003, XP SP2

I have a user that when she receives meeting request DOES NOT want the
meeting request to automatically show on her calendar as tentative. She does
not want anything to show on her calendar until she hits "Accept". By
Outlook's default nature, the sniffer will automatically do this. I am
curious to know if there is a way to disable meetings from being
automatically added as tentative.

I have all ready un-checked the "Process requests and responses on arrival"
under the Tracking options and this has not had any effect.

Hi Sue,

Yeah this user has 4 delegates that can manager her inbox. My issue is
slightly different from Ronnie's in that she can still see the meetings with
no problem, its just, she simply doesn't want the meetings to appear on the
calendar until she explicily clicks "Accept". Which from what I found, that
goes against the default behavior of Outlook so I am not even sure if it is
possible to do. When I removed the check box for Process all incoming
request, that still seemed to have the problem.

Any other ideas?

Did you try making that change also for the delegates?

No I didn't. How I tested it was, I un-checked the option on my Outlook
client and then had a co-worker send me a meeting request. Without even
opening the request, I checked my calendar and sure enough it was on there as
tentative, so I just assumed it would not work. Shall I go ahead though and
try to remove that option on the users delegates Outlook clients?

Yes, if delegates are set to automatically process requests, then they're probably processing the boss' requests, too.
