Prevent Office Clipboard Docking

A

Andrew

Unlike some others, I quite like the Office Clipboard.
What I dont like, is that it keeps docking on its own line
above all the other Toolbars.
Is there anyway to prevent it from docking, but not
prevent it from appearing altogether?

Hi Andrew,

I am not quite aware of your concern. As I know, the Clipboard toolbar
typically floats in front of Office programs in Office 2000. While the
Clipboard task pane in Office XP is usually docked on the right side of the
Office application window. Therefore, to clarify the issue, I want to
confirm some information with you:

1. Which version of Office are you using now, 2000 or 2002? If it is Office
2000, please go to Help->About Microsoft Word to check if it has applied
SP1.

2. If you are using Office 2000 and the clipboard toolbar is always docking
in the same place, would you please give me a screen shot about it?

To make a screen shot:
---------------------------------
1. Press PrintScreen key on the keyboard at the right of the key F12.
2. Go to Start->Programs->Accessories, and click Paint.
3. In the Paint program, go to the Edit menu and click Paste.
4. Go to the File menu and save this screen shot as a .jpg file.
5. Send it to me as an attachment

3. Please also check if the "Show Extra Keyboard help in programs" setting
is checked as follows:

a. Click Start, point to Settings, and then click Control Panel.
b. Double-click Accessibility Options, and then click the Keyboard tab of
the Accessibility Properties dialog box.
c. Is the "Show Extra Keyboard help in programs" setting checked on this
tab?

With the above information, I will then be able to analyze this issue and
provide you with some suggestions. I appreciate your efforts in helping me
collect it.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Best Regards,
