Prevent Send/Receive Progress Window on Error

Hello! I have a client who does NOT want the send/receive progress window to
pop up every time there is an error connecting to one of his many e-mail
accounts. His email provider is rather unreliable, and he gets the popup on
his screen several times a day and it is annoying him. I've looked all
through the options and I don't see any way of preventing it from displaying.
Are there any reigstry settings that can take care of this? Thanks in
advance if anyone knows!

Disable the automatic send/receive interval or put Outlook in Offline mode.
Then when he wants to check for new emails he can press the Send/Receive
button

Is there any way to keep automatic send/receive enabled but prevent the
error message popups? He is used to getting his e-mail downloaded
automatically.

Tools, Send Receive, Send Receive Settings, UNcheck Show Progress.

I'm pretty sure that box was previously unchecked. When I get in to work,
I'll double check that.

Verified that the box was in fact unchecked already...
