I am trying to insert a table of contents that is supposed to contain
entries (table titles) that appear in the text using a particular paragraph
style. Some of these table titles appear after page breaks. Unfortunately,
Word applies the style on the last line before the page break and then on
the page with the title. Thus, each table title that starts on a new page
appears twice in the table of contents; once for the previous page and once
for the page containing the table title. Is there any way to prevent Word
from applying a style before a page break? I can insert an empty line in a
different style at the top of each page, but there must be a better
solution.
Thanks for any help,
