How do we prevent double-spacing between lines in a plain text message? We
cannot find an option for line spacing after a line return.
Often a message sent in HTML comes back as plain text. The appearance of
the original quoted message is fine (single spacing in the body of a
paragraph). However, when we go to reply, every line of the original
message and reply (quoted in the new reply) are doubled spaced.
Furthermore, as we type our reply, any line return is also double spaced.
This is a real pain when we are trying to type an outline or other
illustration that requires single spacing between line returns.
Oddly, we find no way to set single-spacing in the message editor in 'Plain
Text' mode? We have even tried to select HTML mode, set paragraph spacing
to single-spacing, then convert back to TEXT mode. That doesn't work either
as all single-spaced lines in HTML return to double-spaced lines in Plain
Text mode. Any suggestions?
