Preventing shapes from connecting

Hi,

is there any way prevent a shape from connecting with connector shapes (such
as the ones created by the connector tool)? You can of course remove the
connection points, but then you can still connect the connector to the
"whole" shape.

On individual shapes (or prefereably the Master), change the Format /
Behavior / Placement to Do Not Layout and Route Around
