Preview and Java Applet Problem

I am using Frontpage 2002 on Windows XP. Upon edditing some old web pages,
I find that when using "preview" some of the Java Applets contained in these
pages do not work at all (I get a Java Error) yet these same pages work fine
when viewed on the IE browser locally or when published to a server. Can
someone help me find out what is wrong (obviously with Front Page) ????????
Any help would be greatly apreciated.

Preview is not a full fledged browser, and Java and some scripts don't work
there. You must use File | Preview in Browser.

Hi, I am having the same problem, I have installed new JVM, Windows SP2.0,
new IE 6.0.

I think it is the Microsoft policy to stop using JVM compiled applet,
instead start using JBC compiled applets. Or find some alternative coding.
