Preview - links don't activate

I've got FP 2003 (had 2002). FP 2002 didn't and now 2003 doesn't actually
goes to a link that I
create when I click them in preview mode (they work in the browser). I've
tried control click, but that doesn't help.

Is there a setting that I'm missing? I just went through an online MS
tutorial and it says to "lick on the link(s) and ... blah blah blah blah ...
.... after the page
shows up" ... well it doesn't ever show up when I click the link in preview
mode. What's that?

Can anybody help. I'd appreciate it

Thanks Tom ... at least I can stop thinking that it's something wrong or
some foolish setup on my system that would be causing.

You'd think that if Microsoft wrote the software that caused the problem,
they'd know about how it affects other software (or maybe not!!!). It was a
Microsoft online tutorial on Frontpage 2003 that instructed me to click on
the link (within Frontpage 2003). Wierd.

This is cause by a recent IE update, and not by FP.

It was intentional, for security reasons. However there is a MS KB the
explains how to modify the Windows Registry to get this functionality back,
however I couldn't locate the article.

However it is best to always test your pages via the File Menu | Preview in
Browser command as that way you are using the full browser and will see the
page as would appear after being publish to the internet.
