"Preview Not Available"

Hi all,

(I'm using Windows XP/Office XP).

When I click on Start > Open Office Document and
select "Preview Pane" from the optiions, I receive
a "Preview Not Availalbe" for any Word document
(PowerPoint/Excel files I can preview fine) I want to
preview.

Do you know what setting I need to change so that I can
Preview Word documents this way?
