Preview of Adobe pdf files

Can anyone tell me if it is possible to preview Adobe PDF documents in
Microsoft Word Open dialogue box and Insert dialogue box. Is this possible
through an add on to Microsoft Word. This is essential when trawling through
a folder containing many pdf documents to find the required document!

Thanks PJY - this is helpful but not quite what I need as the thumbnails are
too small to read the text. I need to be able to scroll down through the
files and read the text as I do so, in the same way that you would read a
hard copy file. This is not a problem with Word documents.

Word has no ability to open PDF files and does not offer this facility.
