Preview of my new page i works, when the sites live, it doesn't?

I am the 5th person to take over our school district web page, so I really
don't know what's been done in the past. I have created a new page and added
it to the site and in the navigatiaon structure, but when we upload to the
server, the navigation button is a red x and doesn't run. I have added other
new pages and they open just fine, except one page doesn't show the
information that was added to it. I have tried help and apparently ask the
wrong questions. I also have tried to find the answers in a FrontPage text
book. We are running 2003.
